Infare provides complex analyses and reports to airlines, airports, and booking agencies around the world. They collect and validate over 2 billion flight ticket observations from airlines and booking agencies every day. Through dedicated IT solutions, their customers can view data and perform in-depth analyses to strengthen their strategic decision-making processes and competitiveness.
The large quantity of data collection (Big Data) requires the possibility of rapid deployment and scaling. Hence, Infare operates with Amazon Web Services, as it is especially advantageous when you need to be able to quickly adjust your resources when needed and do not have the time to follow the standard procurement process and wait for delivery. At the same time, Infare takes advantage of AWS to develop and test new IT solutions to identify hardware requirements more efficiently.
The public cloud fully managed by Sentia
As a company today, you can create servers in AWS with a few clicks and quickly and efficiently meet the company's requirements without investing in hardware. However, it can be challenging to manage the amount of usage and resources, and you must spend relatively much time to keep ahead of new knowledge, technologies, and features so that the solution follows AWS best practice.
Managing the AWS solution became a time-consuming task for Infare to do by themselves, why they started searching for a partner.
After a dialogue with 2-3 other potential providers, it was clear that Sentia* had a more in-depth technical knowledge about AWS which was need for optimizing our solution. Both in relation to our existing solution, where we wanted a more central overview along with management of our resources, but also regarding consultancy going forward.

Infare remains in charge of its accounts and rights. However, Infare has reorganized its accounts to Billing and AWS Account Management through Sentia, which now functions as Single Point of Contact and manages all contact with AWS.
By partnering with Sentia, our costs related to AWS projects will become much more foreseeable going forward.
