Infare provides complex analyses and reports to airlines, airports, and booking agencies around the world. They collect and validate over 2 billion flight ticket observations from airlines and booking agencies every day. Through dedicated IT solutions, Infare's customers can view data and perform in-depth analyses to strengthen their strategic decision-making processes and competitiveness.
The large volumes of data require rapid deployment and flexible scaling. Infare therefore uses AWS, which makes it possible to adjust resources quickly as demand changes without having to rely on traditional procurement and delivery processes. AWS is also used to develop and test new IT solutions, helping Infare identify hardware requirements more efficiently.
AWS with Sentia
Today, companies can create servers in AWS with just a few clicks and quickly scale capacity without investing in physical hardware. However, managing usage and resources can be challenging, as staying up to date with new technologies, features and AWS best practices can be time-consuming.
For Infare, managing the AWS environment had become a resource-intensive task, prompting the company to look for a partner.
“After a dialogue with two or three other potential providers, it was clear that Sentia had the in-depth technical AWS expertise needed to optimise our solution. This applied both to our existing setup, where we wanted a more centralised overview and better management of our resources, and to the ongoing consultancy we needed going forward.”

Sentia reviewed Infare’s AWS accounts and identified several areas with potential for improvement and optimisation.
“The Linux team at Sentia is very proactive and continuously suggests improvements and technologies we were not even aware were possible. As a result, our solution has become more professional and reached a higher level of security,” says Ole Moon Rosendal.
Infare remains in control of its accounts and access rights. At the same time, the company has consolidated Billing and AWS Account Management through Sentia, which acts as a Single Point of Contact and manages the dialogue with AWS.
“By partnering with Sentia, our costs related to AWS projects will become much more predictable going forward,” concludes Ole Moon Rosendal.
